Will Bring You “Back to 1985”

Dust off your scrunchies, acid-washed jeans and leg warmers because Grapevine’s totally taking it “Back to 1985.” The 35th Annual Main Street Fest – A Craft Brew Experience, presented by Bank of the West, is going to be a rad, family-friendly ’80s celebration, May 17, 18 and 19. Festival-goers can sample more than 75 craft brews from 35 breweries across 15 states, including Grapevine’s very own Hop & Sting Brewing Co. Attendees can jam out to live ’80s new wave pop by ABC and The Spazmatics, country music by artists, such as Darryl Worley and Ray Scott, as well as rock, Americana and blues music; nosh on traditional and gourmet festival fare; play old-school ’80s arcade games; take photos inside the DeLorean Time Machine; watch all three Back to the Future films and more. Foodies can savor a multitude of flavors from vendors and restaurants along Historic Main Street. Enjoy classic festival bites, such as corn dogs, turkey legs, nachos, funnel cakes and kettle corn. For attendees wanting more gourmet fare, empanadas, frog legs, crêpes and Bavarian crème puffs are some of the international offerings at the festival.

Main Street Fest caters to family-friendly fun! Children can experience the KidZone, featuring SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium’s Touch Pool, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Junior Builder Competition, Cinnamon Creek Ranch Archery, Petting Zoo, Carnival, Midway and more for exhilaration and excitement.
