Get ready, North Texas! The MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival (MAIN ST.) presented by PNC Bank is back and better than ever for its 36th year. Join us on April 20- 23, 2023, to explore over 215 juried artists from around the country, in¬dulge in delicious local cuisine, and enjoy live music and entertainment, all free of charge. Unleash your inner kid with interactive activities suitable for families, or just roam the streets taking in beautiful pieces of art. You don’t want to miss the experience that ranks as one of the nation’s top three fine arts events year-after-year.

This year, a jaw-dropping $4 mil¬lion worth of art is expected to be sold from local, regional, and na¬tional artists representing 15 artistic media, including sculpture, paint¬ing, photography, wood, glass, jew¬elry, metalwork, printmaking, mixed media, and more. Among the artists appearing include last year’s Best of Show winner, Karen Libecap (paint¬ing), and Best Emerging Artist, Jer¬ibai Andrew-jaja (drawing).

MAIN ST. 2023 is also the largest music festival in Fort Worth, buzz¬ing with diverse sounds from both local and national artists. From funk, R&B, Tejano, and Southern rock, to blues, jazz vocalists, and 80s rock, this lineup makes for an unforgettable performance. Headliners include Ga¬lactic featuring special guest Anjelika

Jelly Joseph, Them Dirty Roses, King Soloman Hicks, Bones Owens, Tati¬ana “LadyMay” Mayfield, DadRock, Monica Saldivar, and Poo Live Crew, just to name a few. Get ready to be captivated by some of the best musi¬cal acts around at every turn.

MAIN ST. is a culinary dream for foodies, offering an incredible selection of tantalizing, delicious dishes crafted by experienced local chefs and long-term festival ven¬dors at five different food courts. Sample Texas BBQ, hot fried chicken, zesty steak fajitas, or origi¬nal corn dogs while discovering the flavors of cuisines from around the world! Plus, don’t miss out on other favorites such as mojitos and craft brews, all alongside City Center’s renowned Wine Experience fea¬turing carefully curated glasses from Chloe and Imagery wines which will be returning in 2023.

MAIN ST. also offers a rich exploration of creativity and innovation for families at the “TCC Makers Zone”! Located at the north end of Main Street, kids of all ages can access activities such as pottery demonstrations, invention stations, robotics workshops, and more. New this year is the PNC Bank Mobile Learning Center waiting to be discovered! Creative expression also comes alive through sand art, face painting, and caricatures— an array that will spark imagination and curiosity alike.

MAIN ST. is produced annually by Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc., and is free and open to the public. The official hashtag for 2023 is #MainSt2023. Festival dates and hours for 2023 are:

A seventh generation Texan, Aldrich returned home to her roots in 2022 to work alongside her father, Keith, and take over the family business of publishing Fort Worth Key Magazine.
